VPN(Vitual Private Network)の概念を世界で初めて主張いたしました。
VPN(Virtual Private Network)の概念を世界で初めて主張いたしました。論文中では、VPNのことをVitural Closed Networkという名称を使って主張しています。 この論文は、HTTPに特化したVPNを提案していますが、後にアプリケーションレベルのプロトコールに依存しないIPsec-VPNやSSL-VNPとして、標準化され、広く使われるようになっています。 最初のVPNの概念は、下記論文で世界に示されたことになります。- Kiuchi T, Kaihara S: C-HTTP - The development of a secure, closed HTTP-based network on the Internet.
